A  flipped classroom is when students learn firsthand all the materials outside of  the classroom. Most of the time, this is done by a teacher recording a lecture, having their students learn the material on their own. After the students have been sent home with the lecture, they come to class to analyze the material by completing work and discussing what they learned. This gives students a sense of independence and responsibility. This way, they are and should be well prepared for their upcoming class.

Open education, open content, and open source are all connected in assuring equal educational access for everyone. Taking into account how some people may not have the funds for an education, people have posted instructional videos online for free. Anyone who has internet access are able to go online and view or enroll in one of these courses. Open content is allowing teachers to use pre existing online content, while adhering to the legal uses. This may involve a teacher having to revise the content or use it in a different way. Lastly, open sources relates heavily to software. Being able to use or edit available software.

While working on the PowerPoint assignment, I learned how to include settings that makes the presentation more lively. For example, I learned how to include graphics by lightening/darkening my background picture. I also learned how to record my voice in the PowerPoint. I never knew that was possible to record your voice within the PowerPoint. Previously,I always recorded an audio from my phone, then  uploaded it to the presentation. It was really  cool to learn how to include navigation buttons as well.
